Wanting to remember

I have always wanted to journal, but growing up it was always when I was mad or depressed about something. So I wante to start a blog where I could write about what's going on and remember all those little things that you forget if you don't write down. I love my two little boys, Titus and Benjamin. Now I understand how proud parents don't talk about much other than their kids. Their acheivements, funny stories, new words of the day, accomplishments and frustrations/headaches that they cause. Here are the Lilly Stories as told by myself.

Today I got to have an outing with myself and Titus. We went to Chick-fil-a for a late lunch and then out for some shoping. He went and played on the play ground, he still young enough I can get him to eat a couple of pieces of chicken before he runs off to play. He surprised me and was able to open the door to get to the playground all by himself. I hid from him at one point and we were chasing each other around a big tube until he was saying "Mommy, Mommy" wondering where I had gone. It was nice to hear that love in his voice wondering where his Mommy had gone to. He tried to climb up the slide, each time he would go farther and farther up, trying to get to the top(he never got there). Then we went shoping to get a gift for Jessica's little girl, Madyline, who was born Monday, Feb. 11 and the rest of Daddy's Valentine's gift. Our last stop was at Target, Titus was so tired he almost fel asleep in the buggie. If you can picture, Titus, sitting his knees in the back of the buggie with his head tilted back and his eyes barely being kept open, while his sways back and oth barely missing the side of the buggie. The poor litte gut was so tired. It was a blast just hanging out with Titus and not have to worry about anything else.

Titus has been such a great big brother since Benjamin arived, Jan. 16. He wants to hold him and help take care of him, although he still has a jealous streak. Today I found him crawling up in my lap while he was watching "Mouse" (aka Tom and Jerry the Movie). I love it when he crawls up in my lap or runs up and gives you a great big hug!!

Titus is half way pottie trained, we ae so proud and excited!! He will tell you he has to go "Poughee" (potty) when he has to go poop and sometimes when he has to go pee, but we are still working on the consistancy. He loves to play any sport with a ball, baseball, football, soccer, and golf. Every day he puts his baseball helmet on, which he got for his birthday, gives myself or daniel the glove along with a ball and then gets his bat and hits the floor like he is hitting the plate and then wants you to throw the ball. He hasn't gotten the swinging down; so we just throw the ball at the bat. He will ask "You want to fight" and put up his dukes. Titus LOVES to drink "Mihk" (milk). His favorite movies at the current time are: Finding Nemo, Garfield and Tom and Jerry The Movie, which have replaced Little Rascals and Sandlot. He says "Peaze" (Please) and "tank u" (Thank you which he nods/bobbs his head while saying). If you ask him what his name is he will say "Tiyus" and he can tell you who mommy and daddy are if you point and ask. If you point to Benjamin and ask who he is, Titus will say "baby" or "Benjin". Sometimes he calles Benjamin, Travis. He likes to get an old cell phone and walks around saying "hewo, yeah, papaw..." like he is having a conversation with someone, but if you call Papaw, then he gets really shy and won't really talk. He call my mom "Mammy" which, I think drives her crazy, but he can't say Grammy just yet. He used to call my sister Beka, Bebba, but now he can pronounce his k's, so now he can say Katy and Kyle as well.

Benjamin is just a typical infant. He eats, sleeps, poops, and is starting to stay awake more and more every day. He had a tummy ache today so he was a little fussy. He is a much quieter baby than Titus was. Even when he cries he is kind of quiet. He wants to eat about every 3 hours and he is pretty much like clock work. I will be glad when he sleeps through the night!! He is going to be my cuddle bug, he loves to be wrapped up in a blanket. The more blankets the better. He looks just like Titus did when he was born, it is amazing, but then they are brothers.

I love all three of my boys (Daniel, Titus and Benjamin). I am so glad that God has blessed me with boys!! I love having balls all over my house every where. We have every size and shape imaginable in our house, mostly in Titus' room.

I love playing the piano in our church worship team!! My piano teach knew from when I was young that I would be playing for a church when I grew up. When Mark Forrest came over to my house after an AWANA conference to ask if I would play for Murphy Road Baptist Church, I was teriffied to play for a church. I have come a long way!!! I now with the encouragement and help of many Worship Leaders, sing and am the Lead Worshiper for Axis Church. Singing was a huge step for me!! I wanted to play Breathe so I asked the Worship Leader if he would sing if I played it and someone said "Why don't you just sing it"... To this day I still get nervous before every service. But I love singing praises to my Lord and Saviour. I love sharing my talents with others.

Last, but certainly not least. I love my husband Daniel. He encouraged me to start a blog. We will have been married 8 years this August. I can't believe is has almost been 8 years, sometimes I feel like we just got married. I am still learning how to communicate and love him well. He is the romantic in our relationship, but I try... it just takes me a VERY long time to get a romantic idea. We have a hard time keeping gifts from each other. Our first Christmas together, I don't think we had any gifts to give each other on Christmas day, because we were too excited about our gifts and couldn't wait. Christmas day wasn't very fun, because we had already opened everything. He makes me laugh and feel like a million dollars. We get frustrated with each other all the time, but I fall in love with him more and more every day.
